Off racing once again …

Tomorrow, Friday, August 16, 2024 I'll be setting sail. Again.

What a busy year it’s been! It takes a lot of organization and the unwavering support of incredible people to manage multiple projects, travel, and training. I’m truly grateful for my teams and colleagues who understand the importance of competing at the highest levels and support my choice to pursue more than one project simultaneously.

One of the biggest challenges I face is balancing this demanding season with time away from my family. I miss my wife and daughter every day, and although they are my biggest fans, there’s always a small hole in my heart when I’m not with them.

Navigating through different jobs, teams, sponsors, and boats requires constant adaptability. Each project brings unique challenges and opportunities for growth. One of the great joys of my work is applying the lessons learned from one project to another. Sailing, despite the differences in boats and technology, always offers valuable insights that can be leveraged across various endeavors. I strive to keep these lessons close and apply them in my roles with UpWind by MerConcept, American Magic, and even when I’m sailing smaller boats at home.
